Video Optimization Basics: Part 1

Loaded. That is how I would describe it upon doing a basic search for the keywords: Video, SEO and Optimization. The Internet is loaded with video optimization applications, all of which are user-friendly but at a very costly price. Whoever said decades ago that the Internet was a dead-end business is so wrong. We have leveled up to SEO, internet marketing and for a very good reason. Everyone is now online. Free WIFI at your local McDonald’s, state supermalls, Starbucks, now even the local hospitals have a Wi-Fi Zone to keep the patients from getting bored, waiting in line to see their physician for their weekly checkups. Businessmen have now expanded their marketing strategy, to include YouTube, Google, Facebook and Blogs.

If you are new to the SEO business, take the time to read this article. Hope it sheds some light into what you are getting yourself into.

Before I run down on some basics, first, let us define what SEO means. SEO is a shortcut for search engine optimization or search engine optimizer which is defined to include a number of techniques, tactics and a methodology of strategies used to increase the amount of visitors to a website by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search results page of a search engine result page, for short, SERP. Now examples of search engines or include Google, Bing, Yahoo, Mozilla Firefox, among others.

I warn you, if you intend to this by yourself, you are in for a lot of work, maybe some nose-bleeding after, due to digesting numerous pieces of training requirements needed to be successful in this SEO video optimized industry.

Here are tip on how to start up doing Basic SEO Optimization through Video (Part1)

1. Make a Catchy Video Title

It is of utmost importance to get your keywords right and included in the title. Make sure to do a keyword search according to your target market before brainstorming the future title of your business video. These keywords should be relevant to your target market, brand, services and image.

The title should be fun, informative and unforgettable to your target viewers. You can put a twist to your video title, but make sure it captivates your potential target markets attention and not turn them off.

2. Well-written description

You will notice one thing throughout the article. I will keep mentioning this word: Keyword. Why? This is how the branding works, how you can maximize the potential of video optimization in YouTube and Google. Have a well-written keyword rich video description containing related brand imperatives. This will allow Google to index it. Goal is to get a higher ranking on each search, then become and stay #1.
